Damien Lonergan of sponsors Boylesports yesterday reported that the greyhound attracting most attention after prices for the semi-finals of the Boylesports Derby went live was Trinity Junior.
Said Lonergan, “They couldn’t get enough of Trinity Junior. We put him up at 11-8 and were immediately hit with a few lumpy bets. We cut him to 5-4 and they kept coming so he is now 11-10 with us for the opening semi.”
Well Met is seen as the main threat to Trinity Junior and is 9-4 for heat glory, while Clonroosk Sydney, despite a tough draw in five, is third in at 6-1. Seven Beach and Music Glideaway are 8-1 with Threesixfive the outsider of the party at 25-1.
De Lahdedah is favourite for the second heat after being handed an ideal draw on the fence. The Liam Dowling trained star is just 6-4 o come out on top with Coolavanny Hoffa the standout threat at 2-1. After a sensational quarter final display, The Other Kobe is sure to have support at 9-2, while the same can be said for Bens Teddy at 8-1. Bockos Crystal is also running with real purpose and is 8-1. Reigning Bitch of the Year Raha Mofo is a remarkable 20-1 despite her incredible pace and power, highlighting the strength of this contest.
