Prime Rocket set the standard in the opening round of the TIME Greyhound Nutrition A3 525 at Kilkenny on Friday evening.

Representing the in-form Shaun Conway kennel, the son of Toker Forest was always close before staying on well to see off Goingthewrongway by three lengths in 29.09.

Birchfield Pa and Killinure King were just one spot slower with both winning their respective heats in 29.10. Birchfield Pa made all for Thomas Leahy in the third heat, coming home four lengths clear of Marble Winx.

The Thomas Buggy trained Killinure King took charge into the back straight to see off Russmur Shane by five lengths in Heat 5. Ascot Benny (29.38), Loing Cascade (29.20), Foyle Amy (29.25), Hello Sonny (29.25) and Triangle Hidalgo (29.19) won the remaining heats.
