BERNARD BARRY TO SPONSOR CHRISTMAS OAKS

In recent years the Christmas Oaks has provided a wonderful end to the racing year at Shelbourne Park.

That will again be the case in 2024 with the news at the showpiece event will have a new sponsor and increased winner’s purse.

Track bookmaker and long-time greyhound racing supporter, Bernard Barry, has stepped forward to take over the sponsorship and this year’s competition will now carry a most impressive winner’s prize of €10,000.

The final of the Bernard Barry Christmas Oaks will be feature of the final night of 2024 racing at Shelbourne Park on Saturday, December 28^th. Given the prize on offer, there seems no doubt it will attract many of the best bitches in training and we look forward to a tremendous renewal.
