FAYPOINT HARVEY GOES QUICKEST AT CURRAHEEN PARK

FAYPOINT HARVEY, trained by Graham Holland for Patricia Flanagan, Gorey, went quickest on the clock at Curraheen Park on Saturday night as the well fancied 4-6 favourite clocked 28.52 in the AA0 contest.

The classy performer had strong form in the book and punters who took the short odds never had a moments worry. In control heading down the back straight, the impressive winner ran out a fantastic winner and he will be expected to line up in the opening round of the Laurels next week. Two lengths back to Droopys Polish in second place.

Glenduff Meena landed the fourth, an A1, for the Leen Family Syndicate and trainer Kieran Lynch. The 2-1 winner hit the front early, showing plenty of speed throughout, the October puppy got the better of Getup Me Champ, by a length and a half, in 28.61.

Bartlemy Cop provided trainer Kieran Lynch with a double after winning the closing race, an A1, for owner Liam Mannix. The 4-6 favourite ran out a convincing winner in 28.74, five lengths clear of Valleys Angel.

In race eight, an A2, Da Little Rocket returned to winning ways for Dan Cronin and the B-Y-K Syndicate, Cloyne. Showing plenty of early speed to slip around in front, the 2-1 winner was recording a 17th career success, a length clear of Move Too Soon, in 28.82.

Athlacca Arteta came home in front in race number seven, an A0, for Gavin Neenan. The 4-1 shot put on a powerful display to win, coming from off the pace to win, in 28.97, a length clear of Satin Milo.

Race six, an A2, was won by Curragh Socks for Michael O’Keeffe, Midelton. The 5-4 favourite displayed a brilliant front running winning display to beat Arclight Bolt, by a length and a half, in 28.80.

In the fifth, an S1/S2, Gilti Bluebelle ran out a smart winner for Martin Giltinan. A superb display, clocking 17.72 and coming home a length and a half clear of Belindas Craft.

Owned by the Coretime Syndicate, Coretime Tom (2-1) impressed when delivering a fantastic performance in the opener, an A3 contest. The September youngster was in control early and he clocked a career best of 28.78, two and a half lengths clear of Eighteen Bold.
