DALEROAD DEVON made it the perfect six wins from just six career outings when winning the €2,200 K.G.O.B.A A3 Tri Distance Final in the Kingdom on Friday night.
Trained by Patrick Guilfoyle for Thomas O'Keeffe, the December puppy displayed lovely early speed to win the all-important early lead. Making the most of the inside line at the opening bend, the 5-4 favourite just got around in front of Ballymac Bella. From there, Devon always looked good and the exciting young talent stayed on well up front. Another top-class winning run, clocking 29.65 and coming home three and a half lengths clear of Ballymac Bella.
K.G.O.B.A A2 FINAL
In the €2,200 to the winner K.G.O.B.A A2 Final, it was Starson Rossi who came home in front for Colm and Pat O'Connell.
Trained by Pat O'Connell, the November puppy delivered a class performance in the decider. Always in the mix-up front, the improving youngster dug deep throughout and he kept on best to score, in 28.67. Two lengths back to Saleen Jodi in second place.
