It will come as no surprise to any that Cheap Sandwiches set the standard to the third turn in the quarter finals of the BOYLE Sports Derby at Shelbourne Park on Saturday night.
He posted a fastest of the round 29.27 in victory and his 17.03 third bend sectional was a full 17 spots faster than that of Magical Mag in the next heat.
Magical Mag was again so professional in victory, posting 17.20. Oreo Ollie may have suffered defeat in the final heat but he did lad in 17.25 at the third turn, while Proper Heiress was some 33 spots slower to the third turn than a week earlier when clocking 17.36 in Heat 3.
