BANTER BOOST (Roxholme Olaf-Banter Breeze) completed a hat trick of straight successes in the final of the €7,000 to the winner Deise Plastering Novice 730 Staken at Kilcohan Park on Saturday night.
Trained by Owen McKenna for owners Peadar and Sarah O'Dwyer, the 1-2 favourite produced one of his better starts to turn second behind Rapido Bob. Always within touching distance up front, Banter Boost hit the front at the second-last corner and he kicked for home. Soon a couple of lengths clear, he was all out in the closing stages as Regimental delivered a huge finish to get within half a length, in 40.56. Four lengths back to Priceless On Fire in third place.

Augusta Fairway, for the One-Of-Our-Syndicate, delivered a powerful finish to claim the €2,500 to the winner Paddy Sharkey & W.T.S.C A2/A3 Stake Final. In the care of Stephen Gough, the talented performer displayed plenty of speed on the back straight to move second behind the front-running Nans Sparrow. Finishing strongly as per usual, Augusta Fairway flew home to land the spoils, clocking 28.87 and two lengths clear of the long-time leader.
