BRILLIANT DERBY CHAMP TO TRIAL AT TOWCESTER

Graham Holland is set to have his first set of trials at Towcester on Sunday week, March 30th.

The Riverside Kennels supremo has booked five slots for the afternoon and sensational Derby champion Bockos Diamond is amongst them.

The incredible son of Dorotas Wildcat is an intended runner in the Juvenile, the famous one-off invitation, on Sunday, April 6th before targeting a crack at the Star Sports/ TRC English Greyhound Derby at the same venue.

Incidentally, his kennel companion Cheap Sandwiches, who ran up the Derby behind Bockos Diamond, is also expected to trial. So too is the hugely talented Bombay Pat. He was agonisingly close to making the Derby final before going on to win the Winter Racing Festival Championship 575.

Holland is also said to be trialling Clona Bingo, who is an intended runner at Shelbourne on Saturday night, and potentially the strong running Riverside Scotch, who is currently engaged in the Bresbet Easter Cup. Obviously, that would change were he still in the Shelbourne classic.
