It was all about trainer Pat Buckley in the semi finals of the T Nolan C.V.R.T Centre Juvenile Classic at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium on Friday night.

In the opening heat, Ballinabola Joe (Ballyhimikin Jet-Ballinabola Ruby) produced a magical performance for the Buckley kennels and owner Brendan Murphy.

The April youngster came away racing and the 5-2 shot flew around the opening turns in front. Powering clear down the back straight, the exciting talent was showing all sorts of speed up front.

It was a sensational run, stopping the clock, in 28.01, seven and a half lengths clear of Ballymac Dave. A head back to Flashing Fender in third place.

Kournikova (Ballymac Cashout-Dunquin Anna) completed a great night for team Buckley with a powerful winning effort in the second heat.

In the ownership of Thomas Ahern, the April puppy was sent off a 6-1 shot in the ring, soon second after the opening turns, the impressive winner was chasing down the front running Droopys Patriot.

A couple of lengths to make up at half, Kournikova had all the answers late. A brave display, finding generously to beat Droops Patriot, by half a length, 28.25. The same distance back to Silent Kobbie in third.
