Ranchers Buddy (Coolavanny Hoffa-Ranchers Rainbow) was the top lot at the Curraheen Park sales on Saturday morning.
The June youngster displayed plenty of speed to win his trial easily, in 29.22. Showing plenty of staying power, he looks like a real nice type going forward and he made €3,500 on the bench.
Rosshill Jasper (Explosive Boy-Bumblebee Zeta) made it two wins from as many trials when clocking 29.89. A wide-margin winner, the September puppy was sold for €3,200.
Rosshill Annie, a litter sister to Jasper, finished powerfully to win, 29.62. A recent 29.31 winner around Limerick, the bright prospect made €2,400.
Clongeel Goody (Good News-Clongeel Mills) had caught the eye in two runs around Curraheen Park in recent weeks and the August puppy made no mistakes this time around when leading all the way, in 29.34. She was sold for €2,300.
Also sold for the same amount was Deelish Onesie (Ballymac Bolger-Ballymac Belle) as the July puppy recovered after stumbling from traps to win, in 29.88.
It was a great day all around for the litter of Justice Minister and Cherish Me as the puppies performed well to win three trials. Two were sold and they were Rebel Pizarro (29.49 winner), for €2,100, and Rebel Cabral (29.30 winner), for €1,800. The quickest on the clock was Rebel Columbus with the June puppy scoring, in 29.14. He was making just over €2,100 and he wasn't sold.
