DE LAHDEDAH IMPRESSES IN SPRINT TRIAL

English Derby champion De Lahdedah continued his preparation ahead of a bid for an historic Derby double with a superb sprint trial at Shelbourne Park ahead of racing on Saturday night.

As he did in his previous sprint trial at HQ, the sensational son of Lenson Bocko absolutely flew from traps and displayed real fluency throughout to stop the clock in a rapid 18.30.

Other notable trials included a sizzling 27.96 return from Seven Beach, while Short Grip also moved very well, posting a rapid 28.01. Carrick Keano also trialled well, clocking 28.20. It was also good to see Kirby memorial runner-up Merits Inclusion back on the track. He steered his normal middle to wide path off the second turn and still managed to post a quick 18.52 for the sprint trip.
