DERBY CHAMP GOLD FOR LEGER CHALLENGE

Graham Holland confirmed yesterday that his latest Derby champion Bockos Gold is being readied for a crack at the 1XBet Irish St. Leger at Limerick.

Speaking to the Racing Post, Holland said of his champion, “He’s come out of the Derby ever so well. He was coming right at the right time through the competition and we saw that in the final.

“He’s having two or three weeks off and then we’ll look at the Leger at Limerick. It’s a track he runs well, having reached the Kirby final this year, and we know the 550 suits him.”

The Limerick classic gets underway on October 31^st and the presence of the Derby champ will come as a real boost.
