DERBY FINAL ACCOMODATION WARNING

While nothing has been confirmed, the word on the street is that Derby final weekend will also act as an historic weekend for those who follow American football and more specifically, the NFL.

For many years it has long been mooted that the Pittsburgh Steelers will play in Dublin and that seems certain to be the case in 2025. And of course, the weekend is strongly rumoured to be Week 4 of the NFL calendar which happens to land on the same weekend as the Boylesports Derby decider.

With this in mind, it is perhaps wise for those seeking accommodation that weekend to perhaps get ahead of the rush. The Derby decider is scheduled for Saturday, September 27^th, while the NFL game is likely to take place in Croke Park on the Sunday. It is unknown when it will be confirmed that Pittsburgh are coming to Dublin but one suspects it will be in the next fortnight. You have been warned.
