DIAMOND ‘BACK IN TRAINING’ AND JUVENILE BOUND

Graham Box yesterday confirmed that his sensational Boylesports Derby champion Bockos Diamond is back in training and moving better than ever.

It had originally been stated that the Bresbet Easter Cup would be his target after his brief hiatus from the track but a new plan is in the works with Box confirming his star is set to challenge for the Juvenile at Towcester, which is currently scheduled for Sunday, April 13th.

Of course, the brilliant son of Dorotas Wildcat suffered his only defeat in his second career start back in May but has been untouchable since, racking up fifteen straight victories, a Derby success and two track records at Shelbourne Park.

And this latest news means his search for sixteen straight wins is very likely to continue across the Irish Sea. However, there is one word of warning, it is notable that there is no sponsor attached to the Juvenile as yet, which is a slight concern.

Said Graham Box, a member of the Remember Them Syndicate along with his partner Bev Lochead, Austin Whelan and Thomas McNamara, said of their star, “Graham [Holland] said he flew in his first sprint trial back and he’ll get a 525yd spin next week, so I guess he’s back in training. “We’ve decided we’ll never have a better chance to win an English Derby so we’re going to skip the Easter Cup and go to the Juvenile at Towcester instead. We owe it to the dog to give him every chance to win the Derby and the more experience he can get of Towcester the better.”
