As we get into the business end of the Star Sports/ TRC English Greyhound Derby, Ireland are now on equal terms with their Uk counterparts in terms of numbers.
A total of ten Irish trained runners lined out in Saturday’s quarter finals with six of them progressing.
In total three of the four heat winners were Irish trained with Dynamic Force sending out a clear warning that he is a major player in this year’s classic with a fastest of the round 28.66 return. Cheap Sandwiches and defending champion De Lahdedah also impressed in victory, while Sole Mio, Bombay Pat and Bockos Diamond also progressed.
