It may have been a surprise to many that the talented Kerogue Lady didn’t contest the Sporting Press Online Edition Irish Oaks but she had her priorities straight.
The daughter of Droopys Sydney and Coolavanny Ella, who is a full sister from a repeat mating to Coolavanny Hoffa amongst others, has just had a litter of five (Four bitches and one dog) to Dorotas Wildcat Pic right and Peter McManus reports that both mum and pups are doing great.
Aside from reaching the semi-final of the Oaks in 2024, Kerogue Lady was also a finalist in the Juvenile Classic as a raw youngster, while she would go on to finish third in the Puppy Oaks a little over a month later.
She would end the year by reaching the semi-finals of the Kingdom Derby before returning this year to reach the final and finish third in the Tote Gold Cup.
A high-class performer with superb early speed and pace down the back straight, she also has the pedigree to be a star as a brood. We look forward to seeing her pups hitting the track in the second half of 2026. Best of luck to all involved.
