    This Friday’s card at Kilkenny will feature the opening round heats of the Deadly Kennels McCalmont Cup A1 525.

    There is a quality line-up featuring some notable back-graders and it’s safe to expect some exceptional racing in the coming four weeks.

    Once again, a big shout out to Gary Hannon for coming on board to sponsor this prestigious event. Gary has been and continues to be a great supporter of greyhound racing in Kilkenny and his support is appreciated by all. Friday’s opening race is due off at 7.30pm.

    ENTRIES INVITED

    Entries invited for the Tom Browne Memorial A3 525 which gets underway on Friday, March 7th.

    It is a 24-greyhounds competition and boasts a winner’s purse of €1,600. The stake is sponsored by Ted Browne and the Browne family.

    The Sean Corcoran Memorial A4 525 is the newest competition on the Kilkenny calendar and is set to start on Friday, March 28th. A 36-dog stake, back-graders are permitted but all entries must have at least 10 races under their belt. The winner’s prize is €2,000 and the event is kindly sponsored by Dermot Corcoran in memory of his late father Sean.
