The first sales of the year takes place next Saturday morning at Kilkenny stadium where racing Manager Tommy Knanne has put together some really nice types. Iveloked through the catalogue and there is plenty of exciting types for new buyers and there should be value to be got.
The eye catchers on the catalogue for me are lot 9 Scrahan Twist, smart siblings Anglesey Eddie lot 12 and Anglesey West lot 14 and if looking for a versatile bitch check out lot 21 Glideaway Hazel who could be a real money spinner over 525/600 yards. Lot 31 Blackstone Marbl has a smart pedigree and will improve.
Lot 39 Eight Belles certainly catches the eye with an exciting 29.17 trial around Shelbourne Park in middle of January while Lot 47 Hatfield View looks to have a bright future and lastly recent victor Seefin Star lot 57 also merits attention.

Dams first litter has a winning 43% strike rate. Has an eye catching trial around Kilkenny clocking 30.24 and warrants plenty of attention as this could be a really nice buy.

Has one trial to date when beaten half length in 30.17 around Waterford. Dam has thrown some real nice sorts in her first litter. This lady is sure to be a really nice money spinner for new connections.

Litter comrade of lot 3. Qualified around Thurles in early December winning his only trial by a wide margin clocking 30.34 Dam throws a really decent sort and there is plenty to like about this fellow.

Only one trial to date when beaten four lengths in 30.10 around Waterford. Certainly will have learnt a lot from that experience and is open to plenty of improvement one suspects.
Lot 7 ROPEWALK FLYTE (DroopysFlytline – Saratoga) Oct 24
One trial to date when runner up to her sister (lot 4) over the sprint trip at Kilkenny on 21st January. This is the dams first litter but pedigree has a lot to like about it and definitely deserves close attention. Should be a real money spinner.
Lot 8 AUTUMN KITTY (Broadstrand Bono – Autumn Grace) Oct 24
Kitty has only one trial to go on where she won over the standard trip in 30.17 around Waterford. Will come on a lot for that run and damline has thrown plenty of decent types.

Twist a real eye catcher in her only race to date showing plenty of pace only to be caught close home beaten a length in 29.73 around Waterford (note the winner came out a clocked 29.11 a week later). This lady has so much to like about her one for the shortlist.

This lady has only had one trial to date where she was beaten a length clocking 30.55 around Kilkenny. Hard to really judge on this line of form.

Came up against a hot one in her only race to date (2nd beaten 7.5lengths in 29.33) have disputed the lead down to the third bend. Showed plenty of ability to suggest there will be plenty of fun nights ahead with this lady. Has a very nice pedigree to boot and will be on plenty of buyers lists one suspects.

There will be plenty of money going back into this coin box one expects. Two really nice trials to date and owner hasn’t rushed this strapping 80lb dog. Dam has thrown plenty of winners and this fellow will be on the winners rostrum several times throughout his career I would expect.

Roll up roll up roll up. One of the really potential stars on the catalogue really caught the eye when winning his only trial to date in 29.21 around Cork on 31st of January. Comrades are really smart and the auctioneer will be a busy man here. This fellow is on my shortlist.

Dam was a four time winner in open class around Brough Park. Closely related to Pacey Bambi winner of first three round of English Derby 2017 and Droopys Odell 2014 Racing post Juvenile Wimbledon. This lady is worth noting is British bred so is eligible for all English bred competitions. How Klassy is Katie time will tell but she certainly ticks all the right boxes.
