KITTYS PROVIDES SIRE ROAMING TURBO WITH FIRST WIN

    Barry Drake

With such a busy few days last weekend, we almost forgot to highlight last Saturday’s feature at Youghal Greyhound Stadium….

It was Kittys Turbo (Roaming Turbo-Kittys Buddy) who put on a fine performance to win the €1,000 to the winner Youghal Track Supporters Club Unraced Stake.

After catching the eye in defeat on debut, the October puppy made no mistakes this time around. In the ownership of John Coleman and Fintan Murray, the 2-1 shot impressed with a lovely front-running winning performance. A 29.80 winning effort, four lengths clear of Farout Lenny. Going on the winning effort, she is one to watch in the coming weeks and months.

FIRST WIN FOR NEW SIRE ROAMING TURBO

Roaming Turbo (Droopys Sydney-Roaming Shari) was an absolute machine of a greyhound.

Unfortunately due to injuries, the Kieran Lynch trained tracker only raced four times, winning three of them in such fantastic fashion.

On debut, he overcame trouble in running when coming from off the pace to score, in 28.82.

Following that, he delivered another powerful display to storm home and win, in 28.56.

He really did look a tremendous talent and he looked certain to play leading parts in all the major competitions.

His final race was a winning race, back in March of last year, he put on a spectacular performance to make it three wins from four around Curraheen Park when clocking a top class 28.25.

With his beautiful pedigree, he is sure to attract plenty of bitches. A sire to follow going forward for sure.
