LIMERICK SALES PREVIEW SATURDAY 29TH MARCH

A cracking catalogue of 62 lots make up Saturday mornings sales at Limerick and there is lots of quality on show with some really exciting unraced sorts.

The principal ones that catch my eye of the dogs lots 12 Mount Oliver looks a really nice sort.

Lot 19 Millroad Solo clocked 29.89 in trial will go faster.
Lot 38 Bogcross Kyrani Winner of two trials to date and siblings are impressive my pick of the catalogue.

Bitches lot 7 Dawncourt Millie (1/2 sister to Clonbrien Treaty)
Lot 11 Harness Bell smart 29.25 Limerick trial winner and top Damline.
Lot 18 nice qualifying trial 29.80 and well related to some smart sorts.
Lot 27 1/2 sister to an Oxford track record holder smart trial last week. Really exciting sort.
Lot 30 Light wood hugely exciting bitch with eye catching trial 29.32 sales topper ??
Lot 47 Ocean Shelly a high class lady who is going the right way.

Lot 1 Devon Beau.
Exceptional young bitch who has qualified over 525. Can only improve further.

Lot 2 Corcass Luna
Lightly raced bitch who stepped up markedly in her recent race. Has nice early looks sure to be a nice money spinner.

Lot 3 Knockadoguebony
Winner of only trial to date over Kilkenny sprint distance. Dams first litter. Watch with interest.

Lot 4 Nanas Kisses
Really interesting lady. Dam was a winner of 4 from 8 and hails from a Damline that continues to throw some high class stayers. Well worth a look could be a real springer in time. Siblings look smart.

Lot 5 Quality Style
Out of any Unraced dam from a good pedigree which has thrown plenty of winners.
This November pup will win his share of races too.

Lot 6 Scala Finn
Has a very promising trial early February when clocking 30.08 at Limerick.
Met trouble in recent trial in Cork. There is a lot to like about this fellow.

Lot 7 Dawncourt Millie
What an interesting lady this is. No matter what she does on track she could be a really top brood in time. Half sister to superstar Clonbrien Treaty this lady could be anything.

Lot 8 Westwind Cabra
Qualified over standard trip at Tralee early March.

Lot 9 Devon Sally
Sally is certain to improve on her only trial to date. Still exceptionally young and has lot going for her.
Dam has thrown plenty of smart types including Luna Rocket (winner of A1 stake Cork)

Lot 10 Corcass Moll
Disregard her only race to date where she found trouble at the second bend. Previously was impressive winner of trial in 29.71 and is certain to build on that.

Lot 11 Harness Bell
What have we here. Sensational trial last week clocking 29.25 at Limerick. So much to like about this lady and with a leading pedigree (closely related to Dana Point) there be plenty of bells ringing for this lady.

Lot 12 Mount Oliver
Caught the eye last time out at Galway when flashing home late just narrowly getting beat after getting plenty of trouble early on. When the penny drops there will be lots of good days to be had with this fellow.
Comrade of lots 4 and 11.

Lot 13 Da Red Lion
Got badly baulked in his only race to date at Tralee. Dam has thrown plenty of winners in her two litters to date.
No reason why this fellow won’t pay his way.

Lot 14 Knockadoguegift
From the Damline that has produced Music Toour Ears 2019 Gold Cup winner, Create A Star (Open sprint competition winner Limerick) this young lady could be a real gift in time. Needs to improve on trial to date but no reason why she can’t.

Lot 15 Brosna Height
Has met trouble in his two races to date having previously won his two qualifying trials. First time around Limerick certain to improve on his form to date.

Lot 16 Bruis Storm
This smashing lady won her only trial to date at Clonmel clocking 17.32
Dam was a smart a1 lady winning 2 from 7 races.

Lot 17 Tromora Jenny

Cracking 66lb bitch out of an open class racer. Dam won 6 races throughout her career.
Watch with interest.

Lot 18 Rackethall Penny

Another interesting lady who has a decent qualifying trial clocking 29.80.
Dams first litter are smart and comrades are showing plenty of promise. Shortlisted…

Lot 19 Millroad Solo

Still a maiden after two races but won’t be long till Solo is on the winners rostrum.
Missed break in his two races to date having previously clocked a smart 29.89
I like this fellow a lot.

Lot 20 Scala Ina

Nice Unraced bitch comrade to lot 6 and worth a second  look judging from her trials.

Lot 21 Bills Lassie

Winner recently at cork on n 30.02 Looking for a fun lady to have plenty of nights out with Lassie is the one for you.

Lot 22 Courancove Judy

Unraced Sept 23 lady out of a dam who won 4 races throughout her career including a win in 29.01 at Limerick.

Lot 23 Mary Walloper

Interesting lady with only one trial to go on when beaten a neck in 29.98 at end of February.

Lot 24 Knockard Gift

Has only been qualified over the sprint trip. Dam won 8 races over range of distances from 525 to 750.

Lot 25 Anyotherthoughts

Hard to assess as dam raced in England winning 10 races over a range of distances.
Comrades have shown enough to date to say this last is worth a look. Could be value.

Lot 26 Brosna Music

Qualified around Tralee in 30.12 this fellow is clearly going the right way.

Lot 27 Luminous Dream

Dam has thrown a track record holder at Oxford 450m distance in her first litter
This lady clocked a smart 29.56 in her only trial to date. Big future ahead.

Lot 28 Tromora Puma

Dam won 6 races throughout her career.
Watch with interest.

Lot 29 Skidroe Cody

No joy in his two races to date but this 83lb tracker will appreciate stepping up in time.

Lot 30 Light Wood

Auctioneer is going to be busy here. Really smart trial on 19th March when clocking 29.32 Dams first litter were very smart. Be plenty of sparks here.

Lot 31 Comawn Ginny

Dam was a prolific winner of 15 races and match it with some of Ireland’s best in her career. Will her siblings continue the trait. Time will tell.

Smart trial over sprint trip last week.

Lot 33 Quality Report

Hard to judge based on her only sprint trial when qualifying on 19th March.

Lot 34 Liberty Angel

Comrade to lot 27 whom she beat in her only trial. There is so much to like about this lady.

Lot 35 Cournacove moll

Unraced September 23 bitch out of a maiden dam who won 4 races in her career.

Lot 36 Dan Now Do

Hasn’t been seen since qualifying in November around Tralee.

Lot 37 Deecee Dusty

Closely related to some very smart sorts. Interesting to see how this fellow trials.

Lot 38 Bogcross Kyrani

Winner of his two qualifying trials in smart times around Clonmel. Siblings look smart and I’d say Kyrani will be another smart one.

Lot 39 Caislean Champ

Has met trouble in three races to date at Galway. Interesting to see if he takes to Limerick track.

Lot 40 Mellon Robin

Genuine lady who give her best. Needs a change of luck.

Lot 41 Timmythecollar

Won’t be long til this fellow breaks his duck when he gets his trapping boots right.
Lots of fun to be had here and a really value buy

Lot 42 Deecee Smasher

Runner up to lot 37 in his only trial to date. Same comments as above. Interesting sort.

Lot 43 rackethall Blue

Really eye catching trial on 19th March when clocking 29.38 clearly going to w right direction

Lot 44 Wizard Ralph

Has met trouble in his three races to date at Tralee. Has clocked a smart 29.59 will win plenty of races.

Lot 45 Lukie monster

Unraced lady from a dam that continues to throw some smart sorts. Some of Lukie comrades are showing plenty of promise

Lot 46 Text Quatro

Winner of two races to date in 29.81 and 30.12
Would be interesting type of stepped up in trip as stamina isn’t an issue

Lot 47 Ocean Shelly

One of the real eye catchers for me on the catalogue. Won first time out in a smart 29.20 and recently clocked 29.10 and is  a really smart lady very much going on to better things

Lot 48 Glynnscross Razz

Razz winner in 29.44 at Galway in November just returning now after a short break.

Lot 49 Mos Dream

Only one trial to go on. Comrades are smart certainly merit respect.


Lot 50 Lightfoot Tessie

Ideal lady for bags as she give her all and is rarely out of frame.

Lot 51 Orchid Braubas

Exciting puppy qualified in 29.37. Obviously highly taught of when entered in Juvenile classic at Tralee. One to keep a close eye on.

Lot 52 Yelda

Winner around Limerick in 29.45 has some smart clocks on her card just needs a bit of luck.

Lot 53Beechwood Moss

Dual winner in 29.64 Thurles and 29.31 Kilkenny
Clearly going the right way and will go faster.

Lot 54 Bluey

Winner of four races in his career including 28.80 and 28.81 Newbridge and last week stayed on strongly to win when stepped up to 550 yards in 30.33

Lot 55 Cappa Lass

This Feb 23 Unraced lady is qualified over both sprint and standard distance

Lot 56 Lightfoot Lunar

Massive tracker should be suited to the galloping Limerick track. Won 27th Feb in 29.85 around Galway

Lot 57. Zipity Zap

Beautiful 60lbs bitch winner of her two trails to date including a slick 29.97 around Youghal.

Lot 58 Cash for Dolly

Clocked 17.10 over sprint trip at Clonmel.

Lot 59 Glynnscross Blue

Unraced lady with three trials to date. Owners have been patient has clocked 3034 around Galway

Lot 60 Yankee Mugsy

Surprisingly is still a maiden after four runs has qualified in 29.00 at Cork. Has some smart clocks on his card.

Lot 61 Toems Lee
Winner of 4 to date in his career and is a consistent a1/a2 class dog
Be plenty of takers

Lot 62 Lightfoot Dream

This lady is in the form of her life winning her last two races in Mullingar in 29.64/29.63

Winner of two races to date in his career. Really genuine and consistent grader who gives his all everytime.
