PASHA GIVEN THE VOTE IN ROYALS DECIDER AT DUNDALK

A whopping €3,700 is on offer to the winner of the Up The Royals A2/A3 decider at Dundalk this evening. There were a number of fine displays through the early rounds of the competition and the semi-finals continued in the same vein.

Skelpers Rocket set the standard with a 28.60 return and he is clearly a big player this evening from an ideal draw in the stripes as the sole wide seed. Drawn next to him in five is the other semi-final winner, Rozys Wild.

Both have the pace to mount a bold bid but will need to come away on terms. Ravenswood Cass is also capable of making the frame. She chased home Skelpers Rocket in the semis and continues to improve. She too will need a fast start but is respected. The potential ace in the pack is Rolo Pasha.

She suffered her first defeat in the semis, getting a little out of touch in the early yards after a tardy start before running on well to take third. She is undoubtedly fast enough to make a bold bid and is still young enough to show considerable improvement.

Cullmac Terry and Revilo Lowry complete the line up and neither can be dismissed either although they do need to be at their very best. It’s a tremendous contest but there can only be one winner. While she has a bit to find on semi-final form, one suspects Rolo Pasha could be ready to produce a big run and she gets the nod from an ideal draw on the fence.
