PLENTY OF TOP CLASS PERFORMANCES AT KILCOHAN PARK

The semi finals of the €7,500 to the winner Dave Collins Memorial Munster Oaks produced some fantastic racing at Kilcohan Park on Saturday night.

Mustang Fever set the standard in the opening heat, winning for owners Paul Horig and Sean Bourke. The Patrick Guilfoyle trained runner came away racing and the 5-2 winner delivered a stunning front running winning performance.

 A 28.49 winning run with four lengths back to Legit News in second place. Bockos Crystal a further half a length back in third. 

 Deelish Nora, trained by John McGee for J S Porter, made it three straight wins with another wonderful display in the second semi final. In control early, the impressive winner displayed massive all round speed to land the spoils, in 28.54, four and a half lengths clear of Hello Rose. A length and a a half back to Annie On Faya in third place.

In the semi finals of the Casey’s Caravan & Camping Park ON1 Stake, Droopys Maximus made it two wins from as many starts with another magnificent winning run. 

Trained by Johnny Linehan for Paul Ellis and Seamus Hagan, the 1-2 favourite hit the front early, always in control, the november puppy beat Whitenose Hawk, by three lengths, in 28.44.

In the second heat, Aghaburren Bucko ran out a comfortable winner for Mossy O’Leary. The February youngster, a 3-1 shot, proved a class apart when winning with plenty to spare, in 28.79. 

Six lengths back to Ballymac Salva in second. In the Bar One Racing Irish Greyhound Laurels Trial Stake, 

Daring Bentley got the job done for owners James Maguire and Michael Millar. In the care of Michael Meade, the ultra-consistent tracker was making it five wins from his last eight starts. Pulling out all the stops, the 5-2 winner got the better of Banna Brightside, by a short head, in 28.86.
