RCÉ RESPOND TO PUBLIC INSTAGRAM POST

An Authorised Officer of RCÉ (authorised under Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013) has previously made enquiries into the circumstances of a retired greyhound being discovered straying in Dublin City which was recently reported on Instagram by DSPCA.

 RCÉ have been in contact with Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine regarding this matter and are aware that the matter is currently the subject of a live investigation by Welfare Officers of DSPCA (also authorised under Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013).
