Highview Rob was at the peak of his powers on Tuesday night as he took the feature at Shelbourne, the final of the Upcoming WRF A2/A3 525.
Trained by Liam O’Rourke for the wonderfully named Magic Beans Syndicate, the improving son of Mcinerney and Highview Lauren was at his very sharpest and got first run on his rivals.
At 7-2, he was the third choice in the betting but never looked like getting picked up. Indeed, his main danger came in the form of his namesake Highview Thrill, who did all he could to close, but Highview Rob was not for catching. Staying on better than in previous outings, he hit the line two lengths clear in 28.58 to land the €1,750 prize.
