SANDWICHES FLIES IN SHELBOURNE TRIAL

BOYLE Sports Derby Champion Cheap Sandwiches had a stretch at Shelborne Park on Saturday night and posted a sizzling 27.85 (.25 fast) for the 525yd trip ahead of racing.

Obviously, the track was running very well on the night but it remains a brilliant warm up for his planned appearance at the Winter Racing Festival on November 22^nd.

Posting sectionals of 2.11 and 15.74, he moved with real fluency and seems right on track for a return to racing action. Another to impress in a trial at Shelbourne on Saturday was Kirby Memorial champion Faypoint Ranger, who posted 28.21.
