Punters who took the short odds never had a moment's worry as the classy winner led early, always in control, the 1-2 jolly beat Ballymac Kamala, by three lengths, in 28.41.

The third, an A1, produced an exciting finish, and Sleedagh Charm (Ballymac Best-Ballycowen Lola) got up late on, winning for Cobh trainer Dean Harpur and owner Kevin O'Gorman. The 5-2 shot got the better of the running on Hello My Friend, in 29.14, scoring by the shortest of margins.

Titanic Brads (Deerjet Sydney-Bogger Swift) turned the fourth, an A2, into a one-dog affair. Trained by Graham Holland for owner James Campbell, the 4-5 favourite took control early and went on to beat Clonavanny Blue, six lengths, in 28.74.
