TIPP CAN MAKE THE MOST OF THE KIND DRAW

Kind Tipp lands a narrow vote in the final of the €2,000-to-the-winner A2 Davy O'Brien Memorial at Curraheen Park tonight.

In what looks like a pretty open contest, a chance is worth taking with the selection, who's drawn well along the inside of the track. Second the last twice, the pacey performer has delivered two fine performances, behind Topside Rosie and Barnfield Jigger. Improvement will be needed to land the spoils; however, she operates well from the inside of the track and with a flying start, she should make the most of the inside track around the opening turns. In doing so, it would take a big run to reel her in.

Barnfield Jigger, for Liam Murphy, will no doubt start as favourite. The standout performer in recent weeks, with wins in 28.44 and 28.84. This is his toughest task to date, as there are a couple of big starters in the line-up. He might have to do it the hard way in this, and he might need a little luck in running. 

Of the others, Hollyhill Stacey could well win the early battle. Trained by Paraic Campion for Ger Gubbins, the August puppy will need to improve on the clock, but she's going the right way and a big run is expected.

In the Michael Cahill Memorial Open 525, Lennies Dynamic is the pick for trainer Paul Hennessy and owners Cocoman-Lee-Ash-Syndicate. That was a huge race in defeat last week, showing massive gears behind Southwind Storm. The selection has plenty of top-class form in the book, and he should go very close in this. 

Faypoint Ranger, trained by Graham Holland for owner Patricia Flanagan, impressed around Shelbourne Park last week, posting a smart 28.26, and he is likely to give it a good go.

Solo And Go, runner-up in the Laurels last year for Liam Dowling, is another big player in the line-up. If he can produce one of his quickest starts from trap two, he would be certain to take plenty of stopping.

In the final of the Barking Buzz App Mini Open, Highbury Days can record back-to-back wins for trainer Graham Holland and owner Sheila Mannix. The September puppy has plenty of pace, but he really put it all together last week, winning in 28.42. The best is yet to come, and he looks like a really nice sort going forward. From the rails pitch, he should take serious stopping.

Faypoint Midnite is another with real claims for trainer Graham Holland and owner Patricia Flanagan. He looked good in winning both his opening starts around Shelbourne Park, and he was a shade below his best last week; however, he's not without a chance in this line-up. The big early pacer should make a bold bid from the front.

In race three, the Michael Downing Memorial, Senahel Katie has a great draw along the fence for David and Ronan Lehane. If she puts her best foot forward, she is pretty smart. Keeping good company in recent times, this is a slight drop in class, and she's the one to beat for sure. Ballycowen Moon has bundles of all-round speed, and he's the main danger for trainer Dean Harpur. If he can turn close, he will be a danger to all late on.
