TOBI GOES UNBEATEN THROUGH GLENGAR BALE OPEN UNRACED

Ian Fortune

Unanimous Tobi once again displayed superb early speed at Enniscorthy on Monday night to come out on top in the final of the Glengar @ Stud Open Unraced Stake.

Sent off a 4-6 favourite after impressing in his two previous outings, he broke smartly and held a narrow advantage over Terrif Attach into the bend. Blue Street was next in third but Unanimous Tobi ran a wonderful corner to assert.

Showing tremendous pace to the third turn, he shot clear of the chasing Terrific Attack and coasted home a facile winner of the €1,500 prize. Representing the successful Pat Buckley/ Cianan O’Sullivan combination, the son of Dromana Bucko and Mystical Luna saw off Terrific Attack by seven lengths in 29.30 on a track rated .20 slow. Bells Princess came next, just a half length further adrift.
