UPCOMING FAIR WARRIOR HAS NEW SPONSOR

There were two wonderful pieces of news yesterday as far as the upcoming Fair Warrior Open 400 at Mullingar was concerned.

It was confirmed that the famous two-bend event will have new sponsors with the Michael Dunphy of the Droopys Stud and leading owner Brendan Keogh stepping forward to sponsor the event.

It means the event will go by the Droopys Stud Fair Warrior Open 400. The second piece of great news is the fact that the winner’s purse will also see an increase to an impressive €5,000.

The competition is set to commence on Sunday, October 6th and the closing date for entries is Monday, September 30th at 5pm. The event is or 36 greyhounds at €50. If you have a suitable sprinter and wish to take your chance, don’t hesitate to contact the racing office.

There will be additional trial sessions for those targeting the event. On top of our usual trial session on Wednesdays, there will also be additional private trial sessions on Sunday, September 22nd and Sunday, September 29th, both between 12.00 and 12.45pm.
