WARM WEATHER UPDATE MONDAY 22ND JUNE

RCÉ met today to review the ongoing warm weather forecast and its impact on racing schedules.
Considering the care and welfare needs of racing greyhounds, RCÉ wishes to advise of the following:
Tuesday 23rd June 2026 - Tralee and Shelbourne Park Fixtures will proceed as scheduled.
RCÉ will meet again tomorrow to review the mid-week schedule and will issue an update based on the most up to date information available.
Arrangements are in place at tracks to ensure that additional water points including greyhound baths are made available.
Owners and trainers are reminded of the importance of good ventilation in transportation arrangements for greyhounds and ensuring that adequate water and other supports are available for all greyhounds.
