WINTER RACING FESTIVAL ON THE HORIZON

With just hours to the quarter finals of the Boylesports Irish Greyhound Derby, it seems strange to look beyond the Derby but, such is the make-up of this year’s calendar, we must with the RCÉ Winter Racing Festival scheduled for less than a fortnight after the Derby concludes.
The festival will be run over the weekend of Friday, December 6th and Saturday, December 7th. The ad for the WRF will go live this week and there is something there for everyone with a number of sweepstakes starting a week ahead of the festival. These sweepstakes will conclude on the opening night of the festival and are listed below.
The second night of the festival has a very familiar look to it. As always, there’s a wonderful combination of €5,000 and €10,000 championship races, which are expected to attract the best greyhounds in training.
