Francis Murray confirmed this morning that Blue Belle has come in season and will miss the final of the Shelbourne Open 600 on Saturday night.
It is a real shame for Howard Wallace and Francie Murray, especially after she ran a huge race to qualify last week but as one door closes, another opens.
As a daughter of one of the greatest sires of all time Droopys Sydney and Derby, Oaks and Easter Cup winner Susie Sapphire, she is bred to throw champions and that is the hope. While a stud dog hasn’t been chosen yet, she is off to the breeding paddocks and will hopefully be in pup very soon.
Have no doubt, Howard Wallace and Hall of Fame trainer Francie Murray will be praying her pups will inherit the talent of their dam and grandam. We wish Blue Belle the very best in her new role, as a mum.
