EDDIE TO PLAY STARRING ROLE AT KILKENNY

There is always a tremendous atmosphere at Kilkenny on a Friday evening but tonight will be especially celebratory as those at the St James Park venue are set to roll out the red carpet for a special guest, English Derby Champion Lennies Eddie.

The brilliant son of Good Cody will be paraded in front of those in attendance. Of course, he is no stranger to Kilkenny after being schooled there in early 2025 by his breeder John Kennedy. He clearly showed plenty as he was soon on his way to the kennel of Paul Hennessy and the rest is history.

The Hennessy family, Kennedy family and lucky owner Lee Craze will all be in attendance this evening and they seem certain to receive a wonderful reception. There will also be huge interest in the famous English Derby trophy which will be on site.

On the track, the feature is the opening round of the Split The Pot @ Kilkenny A3 525. The action at Kilkenny gets underway at 7.30pm.
