MORE BIG RACE SUCCESS FOR LENNIES DESIRE

LENNIES DESIRE (Signet Ace-Free From Desire) landed the feature in Limerick on Saturday night, the €4,000 to the winner Roma Casino Irish Cambridgeshire 750-final.

Trained by Paul Hennessy for owner Lee Craze, Lennies was sent off the warm 4-6 favourite for more big-race success. It was Ballymartin Neady who showed up front early doors, with Lennies driving a fantastic opening corner to lead along the rails.
Displaying massive speed up front, he quickly pulled four lengths clear of Blackstone Cola with a lap to go. Always doing enough from there, the talented performer kept on gamely to beat the fast-finishing runner-up.
Blackstone Cola made late gains, getting within a length, in 41.62. Two lengths back to Toolmaker Dynomo, another that was running on strongly in the closing stages.
Lennies Desire has turned into one of Ireland's leading stayers with a number of top-class performances in recent months.
