The undoubted feature of tonight’s card at Enniscorthy is the final of the €2,500 Wexford GOBA Open Unraced.
Son Of Anarchy is defending an unbeaten record and will have plenty of support from an inside draw. He looks certain to race prominently into the turn and is perhaps the most likely pace-setter but Priceless Ron represents the all-conquering Paul Hennessy and set the standard in the semi-finals.
The rapidly improving son of Priceless Jet did everything right last week to win in 29.14 and a repeat of that form would perhaps be enough. That said, such is the current form of Paul Hennessy and his Black and Amber Kennels, it would be no surprise to see Priceless Ron go even faster than last week.
Of the remainder, Miss Lackalea and Mona lee Monbeg have both shown a good level of performance and can’t be dismissed but Priceless Ron just gets the nod ahead of Son Of Anarchy. The action at Enniscorthy gets underway at 8pm.
